Have you seen me in the news?
This past year year, we took a 5600 square foot house that was built in 1823, that was donated to the Sunday Breakfast Mission and turned it into a Designer Show House. You can check it out at www.historicoldnewcastledesignershowhouse.com. We were also featured on the NBC and ABC news sites for our contribution to the Show House as well as the News Journal severa times. For the last several years we designed a fantastic room in Middletown "Designer Show House". This year we plan on 3 Show Houses in Delaware City at Fort Dupont.
We are heavily involved in the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce We always donate the Grand Prize for their annual"Spring Fest".
This past year we were involved in a nonprofit fashion event to benefit Children who have experienced loss, whether from a death or a divorce. It is called the "Crazy Catwalk for Kidds". We designed the whole space for the fashion show and the PreOpening Gala. It was gorgeous and everyone loved it.
I recently did a design seminar for a group of over 250 women! We showed them how to put paint and fabric and wallcoverings together in a room. They were thrilled to be able to learn some new things and about what goes into designing a room.
When not busy helping my clients beautify their surroundings, I thoroughly enjoy giving back to our community and sharing my love of decorating with others.
I am pleased to offer a variety of design makeover seminars - for local women's organizations, clubs and fundraising foundations. And, I'm happy to tailor my seminars to each organization's needs, and available time frames.
I've been featured many times in color design seminars, for such companies as Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams and York Wallcoverings. I do many color seminars for builders and homeowners on "Color".
Home furnishings magazines love to feature our design work! In the Winter issue of Kitchen Style and Design Magazine, you'll see our fabulous kitchen makeovers!
